Suburban soundscape recorded from approximately 05:50. This was a residential area and road noise, aircraft and other sounds associated with human activity can be heard, particularly as the recording progresses, though the birds can be clearly heard above this background noise. The main songster was a European robin but other birds that can be heard are:
Blackbird
Magpie
Carrion crow
Canada goose
Wood pigeon
This was recorded in Eastern UK and the weather, though mild for the time of year, has been very wet, with frequent rainy periods.
Unattended recording with a Zoom H1essential and pair of Earsight microphones being left out overnight.
