Spring Sound Safari 19/04/2022

This is a sound safari of birds heard during a short walk. The recordings are in the same sequence as encountered. The main birds that can be heard are (with approximate times):

00:00 Blackbird (can also hear blue tit and wood pigeon in the background)
01:27 Blue tit (with great tit and wood pigeon in the background)
02:08 Blue tit and great tit (a pheasant can be heard in this section)
03:16 Great tit, blue tit and blackbird (with crow and song thrush in the background)
04:26 Blackbird (with great tit and chiffchaff in the background)
07:30 Nightingale

The birds were mostly in trees and bushes along the route.

This was recorded with a parabolic microphone and a Zoom F6.

This was a noisy environment on a normal work day. Some reduction in noise has been achieved by applying a high pass filter, though not for the nightingale as this was a good volume and the background noise did not intrude.
