Stour Wood in Essex, UK, recorded on the morning of 27/02/2022. This is a wood of mainly sweet chestnut managed by the RSPB. This was a windy morning and the trees can be heard moving and hitting each other as they move. A number of birds can be heard, including green woodpecker, great spotted woodpecker, song thrush, jackdaw, and others.
Recorded with a matched pair of sE Electronics SE8 Pencil Condenser Mics in ORTF arrangement attached to a Zoom F6.
