Fireball explosion with natural rolling decay and delayed single reflection
The pyrotechnic explosion took place in the forest at El Tejon Ranch in late March 2013 during a film shoot. The sound was recorded using a Schoeps MK41 supercardioid condenser microphone running into a Sound Devices 442/722 mixer/recorder combo.
I cleaned up extraneous background noise using Pro Tools and iZotope RX.
