One day a squid was swimming through the Mediterranean when it came across a giant beast. This beast was the Soviet spy vessel Hrpuffunlectstetzen-32.

The squid attempted to mate with the beast but was deterred with nuclear torpedos and sonic space lazers.

From that day on the squid vowed a holy war against the metal beast. That was 624 years ago.
