The Via Rail Ocean Halifax-Montreal passenger train approaches and passes the Fall River Rd. level crossing at approx. 50 kmh. Recorded in Nova Scotia with a Zoom H4, built-in mics about 12 feet from the track. The first ten seconds were amplified to bring up the warning bell. I was right beside a join in the track.

The wheels going over the tracks and that tin-y sounds that proceeds it are brilliant!

Oh my God, this is just great, pure and clean train sample. It is dimensional and story-telling. Thanks.
