This is a series of IRs of my Quadraverb hardware reverb from 1989. As it is a typical 80ies reverb, it is not meant to create hyper-realistic spaces but depth and lush tails. The impulse responses are not edited, they are exactly the way they were captured, to give you the freedom to dial in the sound you like or need. That being said: I highly recommend to use a pro-level Convolution reverb plugin. In my opinion, Meldaproduction's MConvolutionMB is both the best and one of the cheapest out there. It lets you tweak the IRs in ways that go beyond the possibilities of algorithmic reverbs.
You'll be surprised how good those IR can sound when you found the right one for your signal. It doesn't need much, just dial in a small amount. The depth really surprised me considering the quality of algorithms we have for plugins nowadays. Quadraverb's hardware algorithm still delivers a depth that is hard to beat. The name of each IR contains the decay length (80 being the longest decay) and the percentage of diffusion. I altered the diffusion in relation to the decay time to make it sound the best.
