A warm, fuzzy explodey sound effect made from the close, centered recordings of carbon dioxide releases from fizzy drinks (especially litre bottles due to the size and pressure) and blowing into the microphone for the tail of the sound. In doing so, the editation went like this:

Inspired by car combat series and information given by FreeSound member Quaker540 for his "Supernatural Explosion" which I applied my own version of and the series by director David Scott Jaffe, Twisted Metal a series I am very fond of.
