A friend and I went exploring on the path around a golf course bordering Upper Pierce Reservoir. A couple of birds had roosted in a tree and I put the recorder underneath to try to catch their conversation.
This was a location wonderfully devoid of road noise, which is almost inescapable in Singapore.
