A digital recreation of the Australian-designed PB/5 Crosswalk button, commonly found in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and some other areas in the world.
Created using Audacity with the tone generator, for the sake of highest audio quality possible. Every real-life recording I've tried to get of this button has turned out bad, with lots of traffic noise. This audio file can also be looped if required.

That's what I was going for! I actually got the timing and beep frequencies from a real recording, and then used Audacity's tone generator function on an otherwise empty track to "Reconstruct" the sound.

Maaad, this sounds just like the real thing, minus all the noise!
