A recording of dry leaves skittering across an asphalt parking lot around 2:00PM on a Friday afternoon. I feel this recording captures the serene, but sad, sound of dry leaves in the fall being scattered about by a strong North wind.
Recording made with the Marantz PMD661-Oade, and the incredible Beyerdynamic ME58 microphone. Since this particular microphone is a dynamic microphone, I had to crank my record gain up to 7. I was really happily surprised that the sometimes un-listenable wind-roar and wind rumble is barely noticeable on this recording......
Emjoy this Autumn Soundscape.
