A recording of sleet and freezing rain with the approach of Winter Storm Titan, on Sunday March 2nd, 2014.
This recording was made at 5:00 in the morning and an air temp of 26 degrees...what a combination of winter sounds and more summer sounds as you will
hear some great Thunder at 38 seconds into the recording and 1:08 in.
Made with my Zoom H4N recorder sitting on the ground in the yard in a small town. I used the internal built-in stereo mics and had the volume on 65.

I'm so glad noticed the building intensity ---- glad you liked it.
Later this summer when it is hot and humid, I'll put on my good headphones and listen to this for a cooling down moment.
Thanks for the message....!

Fantastic rain recording! The main thing I love is how you can visualize the approaching storm, as the rain droplets gradually increase.
Nice work!
