A recording of a pair of hawks that often nest in this small town in southern Illinois. It seems that the essence of the wild is captured in the sound of a screeching hawk.
Recording made during the late afternoon on a day in late February 2013.
Equipment used: Zoom H4N Recorder using the built-in Stereo microphones turned to collect sound from 180 degrees.
