This is a typical summer soundscape recorded in the Shawnee National Forest. There is a wonderful, calming sound of a propeller driven plane from the beginning.
You also hear an assortment of birds and a variety of scratches and twigs snapping made by squirrels.
Also, beginning at 47 seconds in and going until about 1:21, several Blue Jays are calling out. Recorded mid-September 2011 using Samson C02 stereo mics/Zoom H4N recorder.
