A Day with Opa and Oma.

The one-and-a-half-year-old Dutcjgranddaughter is spending the day with her grandparents. They’re looking after her today.
The child is a bit restless—she doesn’t quite know what she wants. Grandpa asks her what she’d like. She points to grandma’s watch and says “clock,” then points to the big clock in the living room. The restlessness continues.
Grandpa asks what they should do together. That seems like a good idea. “We need to go get a dessert from the store for mama later.”
That’s how grandparents pass the time.
Grandpa and child say goodbye to grandma, and then they head to the hallway to bundle up warmly—it’s winter. Of course, the stuffed animal comes along. The child makes sure to remind them that mom and dad are at work…….
