Very quiet down-town park on Sunday Covid-19 mornings. Sint Janskerkhof ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
It is the Common Wood Pigeon and the Common Chaffinch that whistle loudly in this quiet street behind the Cathedral of Saint John in 's-Hertogenbosch in the south of the Netherlands. The Western Jackdaw is there also.
Someone puts some stuff in the car and goes inside. Another walk by. Time passes slowly without anything exciting happening. Jackdaws also comes to have a look.
How wonderful, someone sings for a moment. He cheers me up a little.
Calm downtown’s / More on this location.
Since last March, just like the rest of the world, we have been deep in the Corona crisis. The government advises to stay at home as much as possible and to keep at least 1.5 meters away from each other. It is that that ensures that I can make these unique quiet ensures sound recordings in the spring down-town. The church bell after 7 minutes strikes 9 o'clock with a nice deep sound that fits well with this strange and depressing time.
