Ambiance at river Waal in Zaltbommel. A father and his children.
Now, with the high tide, the father shows the river to the children. Of course they want to go from the stone steps to the water that flows dangerously fast here. I understand the concern of the father.
Today the water is high (5.07meter +NAP and rises 1 cm every hour and there is 4000 m3 of water / sec. passing the river). A lot of rain has fallen in Germany and France. The Netherlands is the drain of Europe's water. It gives a lot of attention from the people. One after the other comes to watch the river.
