Ambitious sound in the open field in the Netherlands at the turn of the year.
In the middle of the countryside of Noord-Brabant in the Netherlands. It is a fresh winter afternoon at the end of December. The sale of consumer fireworks has begun. That's why you hear bangs in the distance.
People let their dogs out. A man with a dirt bike drives over a neighbouring field.
Occasionally a train comes along. You hear nothing of the surrounding villages of Kruisstraat, Nuland, Vinkel and 't Wild. The A50 motorway is about 1 km away audibly as a humming sound.
Few birds can be heard in winter.
I hid a bit to prevent people walking their dogs too close.
