Ambient recording.
Sound recordings in the floodplains of the river Maas. It is windy. The landscape is empty and desolate. The fields are plowed and ready for a new crop.
You can hear traffic in the village of Bokhoven on the other side of the river. Hear, the laughter of a spotted woodpecker and the scratching of crows. A heron can also be heard. Where are the overcoming geese going.
A farmer stops old branches of a tree in the chopper. Over the river passes slowly and ship. A small propeller plane and an Apache combat helicopter disrupt the relative calm for a moment.
The wind blew a bit harder and longer than hoped and predicted today. Better luck next time.
