Ambiance of October farmland in The Netherlands.
Polder bij Vlijmen in Noord-Brabant 01
Even though it is Sunday afternoon, the farmers are working hard to get the last grass of the country. More and more tractors fly over the grassland. After fifteen minutes I count five. The noise of these hard-working people is increasing. They are the ones who make our milk and cheese. Or do the cows do that? It's an exceptionally hot day this 15th of October (23c).
In the distance I occasionally hear a chain saw. Also the trees must be pruned. A small propeller plane high in the air makes its loopings.
Crow-like and seagulls shout the hardest. They find a richly filled table between the newly mown grass.
