Winter afternoon ambience of the garden in Beek-Ubbergen near Nijmegen in the Netherlands and close to the German border.
Village Beek, is build on the hills of “Beek en Dal”. The nature around here is so beautiful.

Garden, park and forest birds call sometimes as they do in the winter.
Close; the church-bells (carillon).
Far; traffic audible. Cars park behind the 3m high garden wall. Some people now and than. Some high altitude planes.

Thank to Danielle and Paul for giving me the opportunity to make this recording in there park-like garden. The garden, which is part of the church property and the rectory, is situated on the hill.

Every year the “Nijmeegse vierdaagse” (the Four Day Marches) comes trough this small village.
I hope I can stay there once to make some more beautiful recordings in the hills and in the woods over there.

Those bells in the begining are so cool. It has a little distorition tho. But the surround is great
