Airplane take-off (binaural, please use headset for 3D effects).
I made this binaural recording while sitting almost in the back of an airplane ready for take-off from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), in Manila (Philippines).
First, one can hear the plane starting to travel on the taxi way, while passengers are talking with each other, and some others are still using their mobile phone.
Then, at about #12:40, the plane accelerates, takes off, and the recording continues until the seatbelt sign will turn off (at #19:23).
Recorded in August 2025 with a Zoom H5studio and Ohrwurm 3D binaural microphones.
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 60Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.
(If you want to use this sound as a mono audio file, you may have to delete one channel to avoid phase issues).
