Jeepney sounds. (take 1)
I made this recording sitting as near as possible of the rear of a jeepney, pointing the recorder to the exhaust system of the vehicle, while we were travelling through the province of Batangas, in the Philippines.
As you can guess, one can hear the sounds of the jeepney (engine and bumps), as well as those from the surrounding road, and slightly, from time to time, voices of the passengers (adults and kids) travelling in the vehicle.
First, the vehicle accelerates and travels a bit, then it stops for a while at about #0:40. Then, at #1:47 the vehicles at the back honks, and the jeep start to travel again at about #2:30. As the trip continues, one can hear other vehicles on the road, and various sounds from the surroundings.
Recorded in August 2025 with a Zoom H5studio (built-in XY microphones).
