Ferryboat loading, then leaving.
I made this recording in the harbour of Calapan city (Oriental Mindoro, Philippines), from the deck of a ferryboat.
One can hear the vehicles (cars, motorcycles and trucks) loading the ship while people are talking and shouting on the pier. When finished, the gates of the ship are activated (at #9:59) and closed, while the horn can be heard at #10:17
I really like this last part ! ;-)
Recorded in August 2025 with a Zoom H5studio (built-in XY microphones).
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.

Indeed, the last part is great, with that so special horn, the high frequency, sounds a bit like a Jacques Tati's movies
