Loud warning siren in Calapan city at 5PM.
Everyday at 7AM, 12PM and 5PM, people living in Calapan city (Oriental Mindoro, Philippines) can hear the loud siren audible at #0:30.
As I recorded it as 5PM, one can also hear students chatting and playing in the suroundings, some distant street loudspeakers, and quite heavy traffic in the town.
Recorded in July 2025 with a Zoom H5studio (built-in XY microphones).
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.

@klankbeeld : The siren is activated everyday at 7AM, 12PM and 5PM, probably for test, and/or maybe to inform people about the time, I can’t tell exactly, and inhabitants don’t know exactly as well ! ;-)
However, if you can hear it at other times, this is a warning for typhoon, tsunami, or any other danger.
