Hundreds of flying foxes (acerodon jubatus) at Puerto Galera. (take 4)
I made this recording at dusk, in Puerto Galera (Oriental Mindoro, Philippines) while hundreds (maybe thousands ?) flying foxes were screaming and flying in the wind.
Very impressive !
In the background, one can hear some noise and hum from the town.
Recorded in July 2025 with a Zoom H5studio (built-in XY microphones).
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.
