Early morning atmosphere in a calm Filipino suburban area, with fog horn.
I made this recording at about 4:00AM, from the terrace of a house located at Santa Monica Heights, which is a costal residential area near Calapan city (oriental Mindoro, Philippines).
One can hear the atmosphere of this place early morning, with crickets and other insects chirping, as well as very distant roosters,, fishermen’s motorboats, machineries, cows mowing, dog barking, and more.
At #12:10, one can hear clearly the fog horn of a ship leaving the harbour of the city.
Recorded in July 2025 with an Olympus LS-P4 and a Rode Stereo videomic X (SVMX).
