Large crowd in the entrance of Palais Garnier, Paris, France (take 2).
I made this recording in the entrance of Palais Garnier (which is probably the most famous opera house in France), located in the 9th district of Paris Capital, during a special opening day in which everyone was allowed to visit all the public area of the building.
So, one can hear a large crowd chatting in different languages while walking all around the reverberant entrance area, and using the Grand staircase to access to the upper floors.
For this recording, I was standing on the ground floor, pointing the recorder to the Grand staircase.
Recorded in May 2025 with a Zoom H5studio (built-in XY microphones).
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.
