Outstanding organ and trumpet performance in the cathedral of Nanterre. (Binaural, please use headset for 3D effects.)
Here we are sitting in the cathedral of Nanterre (suburbs of Paris, France) for a free concert held just before Christmas holydays.
In this file, the trumpeter and organist perform masterfully Greensleeves.
A great thanks to Mrs Haru (organist and teacher), and to Mr Olivier (trumpeter and teacher) for giving me the wonderful opportunity to record this moment of grace !
Recorded in December 2023 with an Olympus LS-P4 and Ohrwurm 3D binaural microphones.
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.

Thanks Gerards ! It was, really ! I can’t guess if the recording could render the atmosphere and feeling, but this performance was the last of the lady organist, who will retire. And everyone who attended could feel how close she and the trumpeter were during the 23 years they played together.
