Downtown market atmosphere in Provins, France, including 4 different church bells (binaural, please use headset for 3D effects).
I made this recording at midday, in a pedestrian square of the old beautiful city named Provins (located 100km South-East of Paris, France), near the downtown market, between 4 different churches. (Quite amazing, isn’t it ?)
So, you’ll hear people (kids and adults) walking around, while buying and chatting with the vendors working at this small outdoor market, some birds in the background, and 4 different church bells ringing.
The first bell will ring 12 times at 0’41’’. The second will ring 12 times too, at 2’41’’. The third will ring 3 times only, at 5’41’’. Then, the second one will ring again 3 times at 5’49’’, and the third will ring 3 times too, at 5’57’’. Then, finally, the 4th one will ring many times between 6’11’’ and 7’32’’.
Recorded in May 2023 with an Olympus LS-P4 and Ohrwurm 3D binaural microphones.
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 60Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.
