Rattling rigging of sailboats in Quiberon peninsula marina during a windy day (1st file, with low-cut filter).
I made this recording in the marina of Quiberon peninsula (Brittany, France) during a nice windy day.
One can hear the amazing sound of rattling rigging of sailing boats, while the wind whistles in their masts and strings. Nice atmosphere !
Recorded in November 2022 with an Olympus LS-P4 and a Rode Stereo videomic X (SVMX).
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 200Hz -48dB/oct applied in audacity.

Challenging and inspiring. Indeed. I've already made a lot of attempts. Some more successful than others.

Ah, that was the problem ! To find a place without so many wind hitting the microphone was almost impossible, as it was always turning, and as there is no building near the marina... Sometimes I had to "squat" on the pontoons, or sit down on the side of the pier, trying to use my body as a windscreen ! Quite challenging and exciting ! ;-)

well recorded. I wonder what it wold sound when you record this, hided in a windless corner, if possible.
