Marching band from Dijon, France (1st file).
In the city of Rueil-Malmaison (near Paris, France), every 3 or 4 years, Emperor Napoleon, who was an important people in French History, is celebrated. During two days, people wear period costumes, and one can watch and hear several traditional marching bands playing military music.
Here, you can hear a marching band from Dijon (Eastern centre of France) playing drums while coming at the forefront, during a free concert held in the park just in front of Château de Malmaison (Malmaison Castle). In the background, people watching and chatting, and applauses at the beginning.
Recorded in September 2022 with an Olympus LS-100 (internal microphones).
