4 o’clock in a French village.
I made this recording in a village called Gisors (Oise, France),, during a sunny and quiet Sunday afternoon of September.
First, one can hear doves, twittering birds, and some voices in the distances. Then, at 0’40’’, the 2 bells from the nearby church will ring 4 times. Very peaceful, and quite typical in the province...
Recorded in September 2020 with an Olympus LS-3 (internal microphones, TRESMIC system on).
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 160Hz -6dB/oct applied in audacity.

Très jolies cloches, vieilles avec des résonances enrouées, en effet "typical in the province"!
merci
