Windy evening in a suburb of Paris.
I recorded this quite long audio file during a fairly windy Sunday evening, from the balcony of my flat (1st floor) located in Nanterre city, in the suburbs of Paris, France.
Here, one can hear the wind in the street, whistling and howling when strong gusts are coming (the strongest gusts were around 100 kph, and can be heard at 0’10’’, 0’40’’, 3’25’’, 8’25’’, 9’05’’, 12’35’’ during almost one minute and probably the strongest, and at around 16’00’’ while a car is passing by). On the left, some bamboo chimes are shaken, some cars and mopeds are passing by in the wet street in front from time to time, voices can be heard sometimes too. In the background, few distant sounds from the city. According to me, this peculiar ambience sounds a bit eerie.
Recorded in February 2020 with an Olympus LS-P4 and a Rode Stereo videomic X (SVMX).
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.
