Taking tramway in Hong Kong. (binaural, please use headset for 3D effect)
First, I’m walking in a big shopping mall (called Pacific Place), in Central, at Hong Kong. I’m going to take the tramway, so I’ll go out and I’ll walk in the street (you can hear traffic), and at around 5’45’’, the tramway will arrive and I’ll go inside. Then, you can hear the doors opening and closing, the buzzer, passengers talking, the platform creaking and rasping, and sounds from the streets coming through the open windows (vehicles passing by, and sound from the stoplights). On the way we will also pass near a Chinese dragon dancing because it was Chinese new year.
At the end of the file, I’ll exit from the tram, I’ll walk a bit in the street, and I’ll go in a shop.
Recorded in February 2019 with an Olympus LS-3 and Soundman OKM I binaural microphones (version 2018).
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 80Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.
