Travelling through Hong Kong by foot and by train (binaural, please use headset for 3d effect)
I made this audio binaural recording while travelling from a street near Central to a building located near Yau Ma Tei MTR station, in Hong Kong.
First, I’m in the street, and you can hear traffic and sounds from the stoplights around while I’m walking. Then, I’ll arrive in the MTR station, I’ll validate my travelling card, and I’ll take the train. You can hear the train doors opening and closing, the buzzer, passengers talking, voice announcements, and other sounds from the platform.
When the train will arrive in Yau Ma Tei station, I’ll exit, I’ll walk in the street again, and I’ll go in a building and take and elevator.
The file will end when I’ll exit from the elevator.
Recorded in February 2019 with an Olympus LS-3 and Soundman OKM I binaural microphones (version 2018).
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 80Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.
