My very first audio upload and recording on my new PCM-M10.
A Cotswold English Summer Forest Stream at Dusk (with Owls): This is a recording on the sunset of 4th September 2013 at Great Witcombe Roman Villa woods in Gloucestershire, England. [location: 51.825073,-2.150188]
There is a forest here with a stream. The stream has a natural fork that splits the stream in two. I mounted the device on my tripod at that intersection to ensure I got running water on both left and right. A canopy of trees was above. I watched the light drop and this cut took place at 2000hrs when it was nearly dark. The evening was really warm and still. I even had mosquitos humming around my ears and you can hear the odd buzz of them against the Rode 'deadkitten'. An owl can be heard at 1333 minutes through 1440. This caught me by surprise but was a welcome experience.
Personally, I found the whole experience quite liberating and relaxing. I hope you enjoy this 20 minutes of English dusk.
As a first attempt I am personally pleased. Happy to take a critique and to learn from those with experience.

Utterly beautiful - thank you. Using it for a piece of music about a midnight in summer in England.
