On my old wooden desk next to my keyboard I've put a metal box that gum came in 13 years ago. I have jammed one end of an elastic string that used to have glitter on it into where the side of the desk meets the front panel below the desktop. The string is from a Christmas box of chocolates my uncle sent me last year. I'm pulling the string across the gum box and playing a sort of mideast-inspired bit of improv. At 00:25.8 you hear my phone in the background telling me that it's battery is full, please unplug charger to save energy. At 01:03 I turn the box upside down with the lid still open on the desk behind it so that I'm playing across the bottom where the sides extend about half an inch below the bottom. Starting at 01:28 I am alternatively plucking the string and banging on the side of the box.
