The Tuohitorvi(birch-bark horn)dates back to ancient times and is often referred to in the Finnish book of legends,The Kalevala. Two blasts on a horn made in the 80's,the first was recorded outdoors in an open quarry with surrounding cliff-face that gives the natural echo.No effects added.Recording chain NT4/blimp-BMA2-R09HR.The second blast is the first one pitched down 5 semitones in Soundforge.Photo of horn
