Here is an sfz file for playing these samples as intended:

This pack of samples, when used with the sfz file, create a sample instrument that allows midi sequencing of guitar strumming tracks.
Simulating guitar strums with a sample instrument made of individual notes never seems to sound realistic. My method sounds more natural but still allows re-harmonizing the chords (and adding tensions) in your DAW.
Sfz is an awesome format. Save the text file with extension '.sfz' and place it in a folder with the samples. Any sfz plug-in will load it. The original SFZ vst plug-in is what I use.
