This is a recording of winds that blow across some guide wires that stabilize a metal tower (I could not tell what it was used for). The tower was on top a mountain in central Portugal and it was a good day with some fairly steady winds. I recorded this on an Edirol R-09 using a FEL microphone amplifier and a pair of home made [piezo transducer] contact microphones.

Amazing recording! It sounds like creepy and curious. It makes me think of a futurist and complex machinery.

Thank you very much for providing this sound.
I used it as part of a collage in a piece called "How it Began" which is listenable and downloadable on SoundCloud here: https://soundcloud.com/ivodne-galatea/how-it-began
