Wind moving tall grass with seagulls crying in the background.

Recorded in wide stereo on top of the now-destroyed Georgia Pacific plant in Bellingham, Washington

Sound in the public domain, but I'd love it if you sent me a link to your adaptation.

Thanks a lot for this sample, it's perfect. I used it as a part of a ocean beach ambience for a belgian video game, awesome!

Originalmaja: Thank you so much for using the sound. It's one of my all time favorite samples, and it's one that I have a lot of emotional connection to in my own life. I'm so glad that others will start to form memories around the clip as well.

I'd love a link when it's available online! Since this clip is in the public domain, you're free to distribute it, or make money from it, or whatever you choose. Happy sampling!

I used this one as one of the background noise in an audio play: "20.000 Leagues Under The Sea" by Jules Verne; recently recorded in one of the lecture halls at Bielefeld University, Germany (by a student drama group). A just-for-fun project (non-commercial). We'll upload the whole thing in 2014 and will give accurate credit.
