The Heukenberg is a pretty bare hill, overlooking a small hamlet called Merxhausen
in the Solling. We went up there to have a picnic on this day in early
September. Hardly any birdsong, just wind, cows nearby, not making a
sound and some crickets, but somehow still athmospheric. Fel preamp, Shure WL 183 microphones and an iriver ihp-120 was what I used.
