This is, at least for me, a very moving track. Just by luck I managed
to record the time, when those 4 small swallows left their nest for the
very first time. They had their nest in our shed and on this day I
thought of recording the sound they made, when their parents fed
them..well they left their nest, set on the handles of my bike and the
lawnmower. All that recorded with an AudioTechnica microphone AT835ST, a Beachtek preamp and an iriver ihp-120 in June 2008.

I prefer the longer tracks. That's how I searched for ALL of mine. I'm trying to find some background noise for my house and sleeping. This is GREAT. Thank you so much for this. :-)

This is wonderful as it is, as you say, a rare thing to witness never mind be able to record. While it is great to have the complete event here I think you should edit this down into some smaller sections as it is a huge file which will deter a lot of people from downloading. Great upload though!
