I used a Sharp MD-DR 470H minidisk player and the Soundman OKM II binaural microphones to record those finches in the Orchid house of the Berggarten
in Hanover / Germany. They are there all the time now, because they can´t escape the
glasshouse, which is fairly big and it is so sweet to see, that they
even started to build nests there. Miles better then being in a cage.

An excellent ambience of glasshouse, with lots of dripping! Actually, I would like to use a part WITHOUT birds and human voices in experimental, ultra low budget noir movie as effect layer of "spooky little glasshouse" scene. Thank you very much for sharing! :) feel free to check my profile!

Awfully high ambient noise; the birds are way down
in the mud.
