Spoookkky!
This track is only a short part of a recording, which started at about 9.40 pm in June 2014 and ended at about 6am the next morning.
This part of the recording was done at about 2 am and as I wasn´t with the gear (Rode NT1A microphones into Wendt X2 into PCM M10 recorder) I have no idea what was going on.
After 4.15 minutes you can hear a hissing sound and some steps on the gravel.
The recording was done in Highland Perthshire at the edge of a forest, with the river Tay in the background, some distant sheep and some horses not too far away. Any idea? Maybe a hedgehog?

Hiss sounds like a badger. maybe it fits with the relatively heavy gravel-walk sound. These animals live at night. Look for holes 10-20cm wide hole in the ground with poo in it. No joke..
As you can see the live over there;
