Recorded at first light from Cobb's Hill Park, a natural oasis in the southeastern section of Rochester, NY. A Cardinal continuously sings, along with Tennessee Warbler, and Black-capped Chickadee dawn song. American Redstart, Wood Thrush, Red-bellied Woodpecker, and a couple "piks" of a Least Flycatcher are also heard. An approaching train fades in and rumbles through downtown Rochester in the distance. Sirens and other urban noises are also part of the ambience. Equipment used was an 18" parabolic dish (Edmund Scientific) with homemade components housing Sound Professionals binaural mics, along with a Sony MZ-NH1 HD minidisc recorder.

Greetings from Avon NY! i love your recordings. I'm an avid fan of all things natural and a sometime bird watcher (listener) myself. I would love to hear some legitimate bald eagle sounds uploaded since the stereotypical audio of "bald eagles" is usually from hawks.
