American Woodcock with Spring Peepers in the background. Recorded at night from our campsite in the Moose River Plains , in the Adirondack Park, NY. Equipment used was a Sony MZ-NF810 MD recorder and an 18" parabolic dish with homemade components housing Radio Shack mic elements.
