An old iron door latch. 14 trimmed individual gestures, bounded by silence, have been joined in a single file but can be separated again easily if required.

This one was in a slightly more reverberant acoustic - a bathroom. This feature will be exaggerated if the sound is pitched down.

Recorded at a high sampling rate (192 kHz) using microphones that are sensitive to very high frequencies so the sounds can be pitched down to imitate, for example, an old dungeon.

Recorded using a Sennheiser MKH 8040 and MKH 30 in MS configuration.
