This is a recording of some pigeons in a city park, St Stephen's Green, in Dublin. I scattered sunflower seeds to encourage them to flock near the microphones.
This was recorded into a Zoom F4 using a Rode NTG5 and an Ambient Emesser piggy-backed. The recording was therefore mid-side (MS), decoded to stereo later. In spite of the enticement of some sunflower seeds I noticed (and have noticed on previous occasions) that birds are slightly wary of fur-covered wind-shielded microphones. I assume they suspect these to be some kind of rodent predator.
There is some other city noise intruding such as trams, traffic, voices, machinery and other birds.
The file has been manipulated to loop smoothly.
